Event Gamification & Digital Passport
Turning offline store owners into active digital participants.
Project Overview
Jumpa Juara is SRC’s annual national gathering, attended by thousands of store owners across Indonesia. Most participants are not tech-savvy, yet for 2024 the event required a fully digital flow—registration, challenges, gallery posting, group activities, points, and leaderboard.
Our job was to make everything feel simple, fast, and enjoyable, even for users who rarely use digital platforms.

The Challenge


Design a digital journey that works for:
Participants who are mostly non-digital (“gaptek”)
Older devices, different brands, different browsers
Weak or unstable internet during the event
Limited prize value → engagement must come from experience, not reward
Very high traffic during peak event days
In short: Make digital feel easy.
Our Approach
We built a lightweight, mobile-first microsite designed to run smoothly on almost any device.
The system combined:
QR Registration from ID cards & WhatsApp links
Super simple UI with familiar social-feed navigation
Individual & Group Challenges with instant points
Galeri Juara for photo-based participation
Leaderboard to spark friendly competition
Exhibition & Redeem menus for reward flow
No app download.
No complicated login.
Just scan → join → play.




Performance Highlights
Even with a non-digital audience, the results were exceptional:
52,176+ visits in just four days across all menus.
99.7% Adoption Rate in Group Challenges, proving the system was frictionless.
736% Engagement Rate, showing users joined multiple activities repeatedly.
Massive participation: 6,651 Individual & 5,221 Group Challenge submissions.
3,813 photos uploaded to the 'Galeri Juara' digital wall.
Failure cases extremely low: 1.7%, mostly due to device/browser issue
This proved that the gamification flow worked—even for audiences usually considered “offline”.
Why It Worked


Frictionless Entry: No app download required. Just scan a QR code and enter WhatsApp number to login instantly.
Familiar Interface: The UI mimicked popular social media feeds, making navigation intuitive for older demographics.
Instant Gratification: Real-time points and live leaderboards triggered a competitive spirit and immediate sense of achievement.
Hybrid Engagement: Challenges required physical movement (booth visits) combined with digital actions, keeping the experience dynamic.
