Project Overview
For the Pocky Connectopia installation at Gandaria City, we created a fun, fast, and family-friendly game zone designed to attract mall visitors across all ages.
The event ran for a full week and featured two highly physical, highly addictive games:
Pocky Memory Match Game
Pocky Hole in the Wall Challenge
The concept was bright, cheerful, and unmistakably Pocky.
By combining simple mechanics with movement-based play, the booth consistently drew kids, teens, parents, and groups of friends.
Total players: 3,000+ in one week.
The Challenge


High traffic for a full week — booth needed to handle continuous play without downtime.
Players of all ages — from small kids to teens and couples, so the mechanics had to be instantly understandable.
Physical movement game (Hole in the Wall) — required fast, reliable silhouette detection even when players jumped, bent, or changed pose suddenly.
Simple but addictive gameplay — Memory Game had to be easy for kids but still fun for older visitors.
Budget-friendly setup — client wanted high engagement without relying on expensive sensors or heavy tech.
Photo & video friendly — the booth needed to naturally create shareable moments (funny poses, reactions, cheering).
Durability — games had to withstand nonstop usage, especially from kids who replayed many times
